The county of Rice is bounded as follows: Commencing where the south line of township seventeen intersects the east line of range six west; thence south with said range line, to the north line of township twenty-two; thence west with said township line, to the east line of range eight west; thence south with said range line, to the northeast corner of section twelve, township twenty-two, range eight west; thence west with section lines, to the northwest corner of section nine, township twenty-two, range eight west; thence north on section line, to the northwest corner of section four, township twenty-two, range eight; thence west on township line, to the northwest corner of section six, township twenty-two, range ten west; thence north on range line, to the north line of township eighteen; thence east with said township line, to the place of beginning.
