The county of Butler is bounded as follows: Commencing where the west line of Greenwood county intersects the south line of Chase county, in the center of range eight east; thence south seven townships; thence west, to the east line of range two east; thence north seven townships, to the south line of township twenty-two; thence east, to the place of beginning.
