§ 5-65-23. Registration required as part of bidding process.
Whenever any bid is solicited by the state or any municipality or private party in the state of Rhode Island, the registration and/or license number of any bidder who is a contractor required to be registered and/or licensed under the laws of the state of Rhode Island shall be provided by the bidder. A space on the bid form, quotation, proposal, or other document shall indicate the bid price to perform the particular work involved and shall also indicate the registration and/or license number of the contractor, as issued by the state of Rhode Island, to perform that work.
