§ 43-28-9. Qualifications of License Applicants; Waiver

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, in paragraph (a)(2), inserted “accredited” near the middle of the first sentence and added the last sentence; substituted the present provisions of paragraph (a)(3) for the former provisions, which read: “Has successfully completed a period of supervised field work experience at a recognized educational institution or a training program accredited as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection. For an occupational therapist, a minimum of six months of supervised field work experience is required. For an occupational therapy assistant, a minimum of two months of supervised field work experience is required; and”; and inserted “approved by the board” in paragraph (a)(4).
The 2021 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, deleted “and” at the end of paragraph (a)(3); substituted “; and” for a period at the end of paragraph (a)(4); and added paragraph (a)(5).
