ยง 4119. School district may contract to educate Indian children.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the trustee, trustees or
board of education of any school district shall have power to contract
with the commissioner of education for the instruction of Indian
children for a period of ten years. Notwithstanding any other provision
of law, the trustee, trustees or board of education of any school
district shall have authority to lease a site or school building owned
by the state of New York whether located on or off an Indian reservation
and such trustee, trustees or board of education shall have authority to
maintain school in such building notwithstanding the fact that such
building may not be located within the district boundary lines of such
school district.
