249 - Pari-Mutuel Employees to Be Citizens and Residents.

ยง 249. Pari-mutuel employees to be citizens and residents. At least
eighty-five per centum of the persons employed each day by a racing
corporation conducting a race meeting, to operate or assist in the
operation of its pari-mutuel system of betting shall be citizens of the
United States and residents of the state of New York for at least two
years preceding the date of their employment. Each person, prior to his
employment by a racing corporation, shall be required to execute and
submit to such racing corporation a duly verified affidavit setting
forth his qualifications for employment pursuant to the provisions of
this section.
