§ 35-6A-11. Advisory Board Created; Membership

History. Code 1981, § 35-6A-11 , enacted by Ga. L. 2015, p. 890, § 2/HB 263; Ga. L. 2022, p. 365, § 1/HB 1433.
The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, substituted “Representatives of” for “Youth workers involved with” at the beginning of paragraph (a)(7), rewrote paragraph (a)(9), which read: “Individuals with special experience and competence in addressing problems related to learning disabilities, emotional difficulties, child abuse and neglect, and youth violence.”, added paragraph (a)(10); substituted “28 years” for “24 years” in paragraph (b)(2), and added “or, if not feasible and in appropriate circumstances, shall be a parent or guardian of a person who has been or is currently under the jurisdiction of the juvenile justice system” at the end of paragraph (b)(3).
