7-2-4. Certification of canvass of election returns--Governor's proclamation and notice to county auditors.
After the canvassing of the returns of such election it shall be the duty of the county auditor of each of such counties to transmit within thirty days a certified report of such canvass to the Governor who shall, within twenty days after the receipt of such report, proclaim the result of such election and officially notify the county auditor of the respective counties of such proclamation.
