7-2-12. Property and indebtedness of consolidated counties.
The property of each of such consolidated counties shall after consolidation become the property of the new county. The indebtedness, if any, of each of such counties shall after consolidation be paid out of the taxes levied on the property in the respective territory of the county having contracted the same.
