34-20-1. Label and warnings required for specified poisons--Contents of label.
No person shall vend, sell, give away, or furnish, either directly or indirectly, any poison named in schedules A or B as set forth in §§34-20-2 and 34-20-3, unless the package, box, bottle, paper, or other container of such poison be labeled with the name of the active ingredients, the name and address of the person furnishing the same, and the word, poison, in red letters not less than one-fourth inch in height together with the skull and crossbones in like color and size and in addition thereto a caution to the user as to the dangerous properties of such poison; provided however, that whenever any such poison is sold in the original unbroken package the name and address of the seller need not be shown on the label.
