ยง 600. Certain correctional officers to administer oaths. The
commissioner of correction and the deputy and assistant commissioners of
correction may administer oaths and take affidavits in all matters
relating to the affairs of the state prisons. The warden, principal
keeper, chief clerk, of each prison are authorized and required to take
affidavits, in all matters of accounts against their respective prisons,
and also in relation to fees of sheriffs in bringing prisoners to any of
said prisons.
