ยง 60. Offenders competent witnesses; witnesses' immunity. 1. Every
person offending against any of the provisions of the three preceding
sections shall be a competent witness against any other person so
offending, and may be compelled to appear and give evidence before any
magistrate or grand jury or in any court in the same manner as other
persons.
2. In any criminal proceeding before any court or grand jury for a
violation of any of the provisions of the three preceding sections, the
court or grand jury may confer immunity in accordance with the
provisions of section 50.20 or 190.40 of the criminal procedure law.
