143 - Information to Be Given by Employers of Labor to Social Services Officials, the Department, Family Court and the State Department of Mental Hygiene.

ยง 143. Information to be given by employers of labor to social
services officials, the department, family court and the state
department of mental hygiene. If requested by an authorized
representative of the state department of mental hygiene or of the
department or by any social services official, the officials or
executives of any corporation or partnership, and all employers of labor
of any kind, doing business within the state of New York, shall furnish
to such representative or social services official information relating
to facts of which such officials, executives or employers shall have
cognizance, concerning the last known address, social security number,
plans providing care or other medical benefits by insurance or
otherwise, wages, salaries, earnings or other income of any applicant
for, or recipient of public assistance or care named in such request or
of any relative legally responsible for the support of such applicant
for, or recipient of public assistance or care, or of any person legally
responsible for a person who is receiving services pursuant to section
one hundred eleven-g of this chapter, or for the support of any patient
of any state institution named by such representative of the state
department of mental hygiene.
