Any money distributed from the fund for the purposes of the local emergency medical services funding program shall be expended only for those purposes.

The 1994 amendment, effective July 1, 1994, rewrote the catchline, which read: "Expenditures from fund", and rewrote the body of section to the extent that a detailed comparison was impracticable.
Laws 1994, ch. 53, § 1, effective May 18, 1994, also enacted amendments to this section that inserted "and the financing and refinancing thereof" following the former language "equipment and supplies". The section was set out as amended by Laws 1994, ch. 61, § 7. See 12-1-8 NMSA 1978.
