Chapter 424 - Foster Homes for Children
NRS 424.015 - "Group foster home" defined. [Effective through December 31, 2021.] "Group foster home" defined. [Effective January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2023.] "Group foster home" defined. [Effective January 1, 2024.]

"Group foster home" means a foster home which provides full-time care and services for 7 to 15 children who are:
1. Under 18 years of age or who remain under the jurisdiction of a court pursuant to NRS 432B.594;
2. Not related within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity to any natural person maintaining or operating the home; and
3. Received, cared for and maintained for compensation or otherwise, including the provision of free care.

1. "Group foster home" means a foster home which provides full-time care and services for 7 to 15 children who are:
(a) Under 18 years of age or who remain under the jurisdiction of a court pursuant to NRS 432B.594;

(c) Received, cared for and maintained for compensation or otherwise, including the provision of free care.
2. The term "group foster home" does not include a receiving center.

1. "Group foster home" means a foster home which provides full-time care and services for 7 to 15 children who are:
