Sec. 1.
That every person, firm, company, association, warehouse company or other corporation, lawfully engaged in the business of storing for hire goods, wares, merchandise, grain, flour, provisions, or other products, commodity or personal property, excepting persons or companies engaged in the business of storing grain in elevators, shall be deemed and held to be a warehouseman under this act.
