    Sec. 10. In applying and construing this chapter, consideration must be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to this article, the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act under IC 26-2-8, IC 33-42, IC 36-2-7.5, and IC 36-2-11, as well as similar laws enacted in other states.
