§388-41 Advance notice of termination of employment. If an employer requires an employee to give advance notice of termination and the employee gives such notice, the employer shall be liable for the wages which the employee would have earned during the stated period in such notice starting from the day such notice is given, providing that the employee does not voluntarily terminate the employment or the employment is not terminated for cause prior to the last day of such period.
