Any conversion of distances between the meter and the foot shall be based upon the length of the meter (exactly) equals 3.280839895 feet.

The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, redesignated former Code Section 44-4-28 as present Code Section 44-4-27, and substituted “the foot shall” for “the American Survey foot will” and “3.280839895 feet” for “39.37 inches or 3.2808333333 1/3 feet” at the end.
