Article 1 - General Provisions
§ 43-33-10. General Powers and Duties of Board

In carrying out the provisions of this article, the board shall, in addition to the other powers conferred upon it under this article, have the power to:

The 2019 amendment, effective July 1, 2019, substituted “this article” for “this chapter” throughout, deleted “and” at the end of paragraph (10), added a semicolon at the end of paragraph (11), and added paragraphs (12) and (13).
The 2020 amendment, effective January 1, 2021, in paragraph (13), substituted “national background checks by the submission of fingerprints to the Federal Bureau of Investigation” for “criminal history records checks as determined by the board”, deleted “and Federal Bureau of Investigation for purposes of issuing licenses” following “Georgia Crime Information Center” and substituted “background” for “record”.
