The 2019 amendment, effective May 6, 2019, in subsection (a), in the second sentence, inserted the second occurrence of “any” and added “which elect to enact regulations in accordance with this chapter” at the end; and substituted the present provisions of subsection (b) for the former provisions, which read: “No provision of any ordinance enacted by a municipality, county, or other jurisdiction that relates to the practice of massage therapy or requires licensure of a massage therapist may be enforced against a person who is issued a license by the board under this chapter.”
