§ 43-24A-20. Continuing Education Requirements

History. Code 1981, § 43-24A-20 , enacted by Ga. L. 2005, p. 1251, § 1/SB 110; Ga. L. 2019, p. 591, § 1/HB 242; Ga. L. 2022, p. 498, § 2/HB 305.
The 2019 amendment, effective May 6, 2019, designated the existing provisions of this Code section as subsection (a); in subsection (a), added the language beginning with “in massage therapy,” and ending with “Section 43-24A-19” at the end of the first sentence, and, in the third sentence, substituted “requirements” for “criteria” in the middle, and inserted “programs or” near the end; and added subsection (b).
The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, added “and provided by an instructor approved by and in good standing with a national massage therapy certifying organization or entity approved by the board” at the end of subsection (b).
