A long-term care facility shall post in a conspicuous location a notice stating that the facility does not permit discrimination, including harassment, on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or HIV status, or based on association with an individual on account of that individual's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or HIV status. The notice shall include information about a resident's right to file a complaint for discrimination with the Office.

Section 7185 of D.C. Law 24-45 repealed section 4 of D.C. Law 23-154 removing the applicability provision impacting this section. Therefore the creation of this section by Law 23-154 has been implemented.

Applicability of D.C. Law 23-154: § 4 of D.C. Law 23-154 provided that the creation of this section by § 3 of D.C. Law 23-154 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.
