The Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection may issue a cease and desist order in accordance with section 22a-7 for any violation of sections 22a-148 to 22a-158, inclusive, and may suspend or revoke any registration issued by the commissioner pursuant to section 22a-148 or 22a-150, upon a showing of cause after a hearing held in accordance with chapter 54.
