Chapter 400g - Real Estate Appraisers and Appraisal Management Companies
Section 20-516. - Evidence of real estate appraiser status. Fee.

(a) The Department of Consumer Protection shall issue to each certified and provisionally licensed appraiser a certificate or provisional license, as the case may be, in such size and form as it determines, evidencing the real estate appraiser's status.

(b) A fee of twenty-five dollars shall be paid to the commission for the issuance of a proof of certification or provisional licensing or a duplicate certification or provisional license.

Sess. P.A. 03-6 and P.A. 04-169 replaced Department of Consumer Protection with Department of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective June 1, 2004; P.A. 14-52 deleted references to licensing and limited licensing and made technical and conforming changes, effective July 1, 2014.
