On July 1, 1959, there shall be transferred from the bureau of mines of the state of Colorado to the state historical society that certain mineral exhibit presently maintained by the bureau of mines in the Colorado state museum building, together with all mineral and other collections, specimens, exhibits, displays, records, documents, cases, and other materials pertaining to said exhibits and all collections and exhibits subordinate thereto. The said exhibit shall be and remain from the date of such transfer part of the general collections of the state historical society as described in this part 2, subject to the obligations and powers of the state historical society as set forth in this part 2. That portion of the Colorado state museum building now occupied by the said exhibit shall be transferred on July 1, 1959, to the occupancy and control of the state historical society.
