ARTICLE 10 - Penalties
Section 18932.1.

18932.1. Any person that violates any provision of this chapter, or any regulation that is issued pursuant to it, is liable civilly for a penalty not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) for each such violation. If the court finds that a violation of this chapter was a serious violation, or that the violation is a second or subsequent violation, the person is civilly liable for a penalty not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for each violation. Any money that is received pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the Department of Food and Agriculture Fund, and upon appropriation by the Legislature, shall be used for the purposes described in Section 221.
