(a) There is established a State Crime Laboratory.
(b) The laboratory shall offer services to law enforcement in:
(1) Forensic pathology;
(2) Toxicology;
(3) Physical evidence analysis;
(4) DNA analysis;
(5) Drug analysis;
(6) Latent fingerprint identification;
(7) Firearms and toolmarks analysis;
(8) Digital evidence analysis; and
(9) Other such areas as the State Crime Laboratory Board deems necessary and appropriate.
