The Tennessee emergency management agency shall deliver a copy of any suspension letter to the member of the senate and the member of the house of representatives who represents such area, and to the principal officer of the local legislative body of the county and municipality, if applicable. Such notice shall contain the date of suspension, the amount of suspension, reasons for the suspension, and the length of suspension. For the purposes of this section, “suspension” includes the suspension of any federal funds or state funds that are related to the emergency management program.
