§ 12. Commissioner
The Department shall be administered by a Commissioner of Financial Regulation who shall be appointed by the Governor biennially, in the month of February, with the advice and consent of the Senate. Commissioner, as used in this title, shall mean the Commissioner of Financial Regulation. (Added 1999, No. 153 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. Jan. 1, 2001; amended 2011, No. 78 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff.
