Subchapter W. Magistrates in Certain County Courts
Section 54.1173. Qualifications

Sec. 54.1173. QUALIFICATIONS. A magistrate must:
(1) be a citizen of this state;
(2) be at least 25 years of age; and
(3) have been licensed to practice law in this state for at least four years preceding the date of appointment.
