Sec. 1371.101. OBLIGATION AS NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT AND INVESTMENT SECURITY. An obligation is:
(1) a negotiable instrument; and
(2) an investment security to which Chapter 8, Business & Commerce Code, applies.
