Section 1026.054. Qualifications for Office

Sec. 1026.054. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. (a) A person may not be appointed or elected as a director unless the person is:
(1) a district resident; and
(2) a qualified voter.
(b) A person is not eligible to serve as a director if the person is:
(1) the district administrator;
(2) a district employee; or
(3) a member of the staff of the hospital.
