9-29-26. Family day care homes--Regulation and standards of care.
Notwithstanding the provisions of ยงยง26-6-14.1 and 26-6-14.2, any municipality may provide for the regulation of family day care homes and may adopt standards of care including but not limited to the qualifications of personnel engaged in providing family day care homes; requirements relating to safety, sanitation, condition, and maintenance of physical plant and equipment utilized in child care.
