§ 28-26-2. Licensing section.
(a) The present board of examiners shall constitute a section within the department of labor and training to be known as the “hoisting engineers’ licensing section.”
(b) Chief. The director of the department of labor and training shall appoint a resident of this state who has fifteen (15) years of practical experience as a hoisting engineer and has possessed a full license for fifteen (15) years, to the position of chief investigator of the hoisting engineers’ licensing section within the division of professional regulations.
