§ 23-24.9-9.4. Exemptions.
The following categories of dental offices are exempt from the requirement to install an amalgam separator; provided, that they do not place or remove amalgam:
(a) Orthodontists;
(b) Periodontists;
(c) Endodontists;
(d) Oral and maxillofacial surgeons; and
(e) A dental office that is scheduled to no longer be used as a dental office after January 1, 2008.
