§ 23-18.9-12. Records required.
(a) Every private landfill operator shall keep a written record of the vehicles which unload cargo at the landfill. The record shall contain the date, the time, and the registration of the vehicle. The landfill operator shall upon request make the written record available for inspection by the department of environmental management.
(b) The director of the department of environmental management shall promulgate rules and regulations for the purpose of enforcing and complying with the provisions of this section.
(c) Every person who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) for each offense.
