Short Titles of Implementing Statutes. Section 1 of Act 97 of 1992 provided that the act shall be known and may be cited
as the Uniform Commercial Code Modernization Act.
Section 1 of Act 44 of 1996 provided that the act shall be known and may be cited
as the Uniform Commercial Code Modernization Act of 1996.

Saved from Suspension. Pennsylvania Rule of Civil Procedure for District Justices No. 482, adopted November
7, 1988, provided that section 1101 et seq. shall not be deemed suspended or affected.
Rules 401 through 482 relate to execution of judgments for the payment of money rendered
by district justices. Act 207 of 2004 changed district justices to magisterial district
judges. Rule 482 can now be found in the Rules of Conduct, Office Standards and Civil
Procedure for Magisterial District Judges.
