143-512. Regional demonstration plans.
The Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services may develop and implement, in conjunction with any local sponsors that may agree to participate, regional emergency medical services systems in order to demonstrate the desirability of comprehensive regional emergency medical services systems and to determine the optimum characteristics of such plans.
