ยง 70. Amendments of defects. The special term of the supreme court,
in the judicial district in which the property affected by the
proceeding is situated, at any time may amend any defect or informality
in any notice, petition, pleading, order or decree in a proceeding
instituted under this chapter or cause property affected by such defect,
informality or lack of jurisdiction to be excluded therefrom or other
property affected by such defect, informality or lack of jurisdiction to
be included therein, by amendment, upon notice published twice a week
for two weeks in two public newspapers, published in such city, and may
direct such further notices to be given to any party in interest as it
shall deem proper.
