ยง 57.31. Cooperative records storage and management. All local
government records shall be kept in secure facilities maintained by the
local government unless the consent of the commissioner of education is
obtained to their transfer and storage elsewhere. Any local government
may cooperate with another local government or governments for the
improved management and preservation of records, and may enter into a
contractual arrangement for such purposes.
