ยง 4708. State aid. There shall be annually apportioned to such school
from the moneys appropriated by the state legislature for the support of
the public schools of the state the sum of one thousand dollars and an
additional sum of two hundred dollars for each teacher employed therein
for a period of thirty-six weeks during each school year, whose entire
time is given to the instruction of pupils in such school. No such
apportionment shall be made unless there are at least fifteen pupils
enrolled and actually in attendance at such school during such period of
thirty-six weeks, and unless such school maintains an organization and a
course of study and is conducted in a manner approved by the
commissioner of education.
