ยง 254. Video teleconferencing for families of persons ordered to
active duty. 1. Definition. For the purposes of this section, "military
service" shall mean military duty in the active military service of the
United States, as defined in section three hundred one of this chapter.
2. The division of military and naval affairs shall make available
teleconferencing facilities to the families, which shall include
spouses, domestic partners, children, and parents and such others as
meet criteria established by the division of every person in military
service who is a resident of this state so as to facilitate, in
cooperation with the department of defense and the armed forces of the
United States, communications between such persons in military service
and their families.
