ยง 250-d. Record and report of sales; preservation of records by
dealers. Every dealer shall, upon receipt of farm products and as he or
she handles and disposes of the same, make and preserve for at least
three years a record thereof, specifying the date of receipt, the kind
and quantity of such farm products, and the name and address of the
producer or other person from which said farm products were received,
and any fees relative to the sale and the date and method of payment,
including any offsets in the purchase price. In the event a dealer is
also a producer of farm products, such dealer-producer shall maintain a
separate record for those farm products produced by him or her.
