ยง 1306. Abandoned property resulting from the administration of the
vehicle and traffic law. Any abandoned property resulting from the
administration of the vehicle and traffic law in the hands of the
commissioner of motor vehicles or the commissioner of taxation and
finance on the first day of January in any year shall be paid to the
state comptroller not later than the first day of July following. Such
payment shall be accompanied by a written report setting forth such
identifying information as the state comptroller may require.
