The purpose of the Manufactured Housing Act [Chapter 60, Article 14 NMSA 1978] is to insure the purchasers and users of manufactured homes the essential conditions of health and safety which are their right and to provide that the business practices of the industry are fair and orderly among the members of the industry with due regard to the ultimate consumers in this important area of human shelter.
