70-9-405. Responsibility of carrier and bailee after storage. After the storage of goods, merchandise, or property as provided in this part, the responsibility of the carrier ceases and the person with whom the goods, merchandise, or property is stored is not liable for any loss or damage on account of the storage unless the loss or damage results from the person's negligence or want of proper care.
