40-5-302. Purpose -- applicability. (1) The purpose of this part is to provide a direct method of deducting money from a person's income for the payment of child support.
(2) Income withholding under this part is available without amendment of the support order even though the support order did not provide for withholding or provided for other payment arrangements.
