329.130. Reciprocity with other states, fee. — The board shall grant without examination a license to practice cosmetology to any applicant who holds a current license that is issued by another state, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia whose requirements for licensure are similar to the licensing requirements in Missouri at the time the application is filed or who has practiced cosmetology for at least two consecutive years in another state, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. The applicant under this section shall pay the appropriate application and licensure fees at the time of making application. A licensee who is currently under disciplinary action with another board of cosmetology shall not be licensed by reciprocity under the provisions of section 324.009.
