Sec. 973.
Unless licensed under part 62 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.6230 to 333.6251, a crisis stabilization unit that is not also a preadmission screening unit shall not provide substance use disorder services described in chapter 2A under this certification without first obtaining the required license. If substance use disorder prevention services or substance use disorder treatment and rehabilitation services, or both, are provided, the crisis stabilization unit must obtain a license as required under section 6233 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.6233.
